Clearly this is going to be a beautiful creation for the DS.

Word filters are usually pretty useful in games, I mean, its good to have less kids run around cussing.
But word filters are just getting out of hand and seem to be made by kids themselves.
For example, you might not be able to say words such as “hell” or “jew”, which just seems plain silly, especially when in the game your “blow”ing (blow is also censored) up the enemy into pieces with your ak-47 or whatever is your weapon of choice.
The most worst censorship I have seen so far online would have to be in Combat Arms, you can’t say the above mentioned words and such like “suck” and “hole” you can’t even say “sniper” in it without censoring the “nip” part in it, and a lot of other stuff.
The best filter I know of, which people will probably no doubt complain to me about, is in RuneScape, in it you can say “damn”, “hell”, “suck” and other stuff, while still censoring the other words such as the f-bomb.
The sad part is how the big fps games have such a kid-esque filter, while a game such as RuneScape, which has a big kid base of players, doesn’t have such a strong filter for it, but still filters words that try and get around it, unlike others.
Pandora is pretty much a hand held console that runs Linux (or any other distribution of it), they claim it can emulate stuff PlayStation 1 and older (although there isn’t really a n64 emulator out yet for it), and as you can see it can run Quake at least at a solid 60fps.
The price is at $330 and it is slightly larger then a DS (as you can see above), it has a qwerty keyboard, two analogy sticks, a D-Pad, microphone and touchscreen.
It also has built in wifi and bluetooth, you can see the full specs here.
Its still pretty much being in production, you can checkout the website here.
You can read up about this virus here.
Pretty much its a virus that has been spreading around which will run on April 1st, and you should make sure your protected by checking out that above link.
So far it has supposedly affected up to 9 million to 15 million people, and Microsoft is even offering a $250,000 reward for the person who created it.
You can read about it more here.
This is not a April Fools joke.
Today it was announced at the Game Developers Conference Game Developers Conference by Satoru Iwata that Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks will be the next Zelda game for the DS.
So far it seems like Phantom Hourglass, except on land and with a train.
Ironically I always thought of a Zelda game after Wind Waker that would include a large expanse of land (for the “new” Hyrule).
Lets just hope this does better then Phantom Hourglass.
It would appear that over the weekend someone (or more like a few someones) broke into my school.
They opened up a bunch of the lockers and threw peoples stuff into the hallway into piles.
One teacher they took her personal books and ripped pages, and took her iPod. These people even put salsa and spread it on the ground in another one of the teachers room, and even put a bunch in her microwave.
One teacher they took his candy bars and ate them, and carelessly threw the wrappers in the garbage can in his room.
And such vandalism has been at my school ever since I’ve been here last year. Last year someone broke in and threw paint at a bunch of the lockers (which it took like a week for them to repaint, and had the students not able to use their lockers), and another time a opposing school painted a mans….private part into the grass right outside the entrance of our school (and they didn’t remove it until right before the gradulations).
Its not the vandalism itself thats the problem, but what the school does, they don’t do anything about it. Unlike the middle school (which like never even had vandalism before), the high school doesn’t have cameras. Not to mention they haven’t done really anything to even try and protect the highschool school from break ins at all.
Ah ha! I have came up with a simple solution to make a background that stretches to fit the whole window in a webpage, by using css (that is, until CSS 3 comes)
Here is the compatibility status for this:
Works 100%:
Works with Minor Problem:
(The only problem with those is that they kind of cut off at the bottom of the page)
Doesn’t work at all:
(That shouldn’t really come as a surprise)
How to get it onto your web page:
Pretty much just put this into your web page’s header:
<style type=”text/css”>
/* Background start */
img.bg
{
z-index:-1;
width:100%;
height:100%;
_width:0%;
_height:0%;
position:fixed;
attachment:fixed;
left:0;
top:0;
}
</style>
And put this somewhere in your webpage (preferably right after the opening body tag):
<img class=”bg” src=”Image Link here“>
But of course change the Image Link here to the location of your background image.
I have divided by zero.
Such a amazing feat really, and here is how my tale goes…
I was playing Gods and Idols and I was doing my usual job of pwning noobs.
I was taking over someones planet, I was also unzipping Bender’s Big Score onto my pc, and apparently while I was unzipping I had just taken the planet over.
But apparently it overloaded the server and created a temporal rift of epicness, and it gave me 2.5m power in the game (which is amazingly insane).
Apparently when I took the planet over, it was trying to give me the guys power / how many planets he had. which it thought he had zero planets, so in fact I divided by zero.
Of course I told the owner of the game the problem and he fixed it up, but now I’m know as Warriorccc0, the Divider of Zero, in it.
I decided to start posting here again and decided I might as well start anew.
