Today it was announced at the Game Developers Conference Game Developers Conference by Satoru Iwata that Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks will be the next Zelda game for the DS.
So far it seems like Phantom Hourglass, except on land and with a train.
Ironically I always thought of a Zelda game after Wind Waker that would include a large expanse of land (for the “new” Hyrule).
Lets just hope this does better then Phantom Hourglass.

They are utterly destroying the Zelda series. I would much rather games more like Ocarina Of Time, A link to the Past, or Twilight Princess then some silly thing with link riding a train that looks like wind waker graphics except badly drawn.
The DS Zelda games honestly don’t go anywhere.
I hope they keep the games on the Wii good…
